Cobb & Douglas Health Foundation Receives Donation from Capital City Bank Group Foundation for Child Safety Initiatives

On September 9, the Cobb & Douglas Health Foundation (CDHF) received a $5,000 donation from the Capital City Bank Group Foundation.
This donation will support SAFE Kids Cobb County, which was created in 1991 and is led by Cobb & Douglas Public Health (CDPH). It is committed to preventing and reducing the number of unintentional injuries to Cobb children. The coalition relies heavily on grants and private donations to purchase safety equipment such as car seats, booster seats, life jackets, portable pack-n-play cribs and bicycle helmets for families in need.
“We are so appreciative of this generous donation from the Capital City Bank Group Foundation,” said Lisa Crossman, Executive Director of the Cobb & Dougals Health Foundation. “They are an outstanding community partner and 100% of this funding will go to providing more children’s safety equipment for Cobb families in need.”
Cobb & Douglas Health Foundation, the philanthropic arm of CDPH, seeks to provide financial and advocacy support for the mission of CDPH, which is, “with our partners, to promote and protect the health and safety of the residents of Cobb and Douglas counties.”
